A UFO video that has emerged from the Irkutsk region in Russia's Siberia is making waves on the net (see video below). The was purportedly taken near the mysterious Lake Baikal, where a UFO base has been rumoured to exist for decades. The video shows a small body of water in the vicinity of the lake and some tourists in rubber boats. A large UFO can be seen hovering above the lake, partially obscured by clouds. One of the tourists briefly points at the craft.
The event took place around two weeks ago.
The witness who filmed the UFO, Mr Leonid Marozin, insists that the footage is genuine. He alleges that he scrambled to capture the craft after noticing it partially obscured by clouds, however only managed to capture a few brief seconds.
The region where the UFO was seen has been inundated by UFO events in recent months. Earlier this year a UFO crash that was investigated by Russian authorities received nationwide coverage. Shortly after, a dead alien was filmed in the area.
