A UFO has been seen by a number of witnesses in China, at least seven according to local media reports, as it zoomed across the evening sky (see video below). The event took place above the outskirts of the city of Helan, in Helan Province. One witness, a local businessman named Mr Tang managed to get a number of photographs of the UFO. It is believed at least one other witness was able to get video footage of the object, however this has been taken in by government officials for study.
The object initially appeared as a glowing orange disc before changing to a fluorescent blue colour and then changing form altogether to what looked like a non-solid entity. Shortly after the UFO vanished into the night sky.
No earthly explanation has been given for the event and local scientists have suggested that this was possibly an alien craft using advanced technology to leave our orbit and travel through space at speeds not achievable at this stage by human beings.
