UFO messages: Longer boats are coming to win us
Do you feel like we are on the verge of something? As if a huge event is about to happen, one that will change human destiny irrevocably? You are not alone.
Many people are feeling the exactly the same. The Internet is buzzing with predictions of coming global meltdown, whether economic, environmental or the result of some nuclear catastrophe.
The Twentieth Century was a time of unprecedented progress, untold misery and cruelty but more than anything else: hope.
Hope was there as our grandparents rebuilt their lives and societies in the aftermath of the last World War. Hope inspired the youth of the 60s to change the world around them and drove them as they marched for equal rights and peace.
In today's post post-modern society hope is not all that evident. There are only so many times Western civilization can re-invent itself and re-invigorate the blood in its veins. Only the very shallow or very stupid could possibly be inspired by much about present society and that is not a good thing. European civilization, at least, seems to have run out of ideas and steam.
America is ill. Much of its populace is worn-out. They no longer have faith in the old 'American dream'. The Obama campaign momentarily enlivened us with the prospect of 'real change', but predictably and sadly little seems to have changed at all and that might have been the last drawcard we had.
It seems we have also finally run out of vaguely believable ‘enemies’ to create so as to mask our society's divisions and alienation with a false sense of unity hiding under empty war slogans.
Unprecedented prosperity and ease of living has not created the happiness we believed it would. A gaping emptiness resides in the soul of modern man.
Old-time religions try to fill the void and be ‘relevant’ but the reality is that they are hopelessly out of date. Pop-culture is also running out of new ideas to inspire the young, its only solution is to try to appeal to a younger and younger audience each passing year.
It’s over, finished, gone, done.
The Aztec Empire once shone briefly as a marvel of human civilization. The great city of Tenochtitlan was described by the Europeans who first saw it as something beyond a dream. Aqueducts, canals, grand public buildings, towers, temples and palaces all carved of stone. A giant aviary made of pure gold.
However, by 1519 all was not well with the Aztecs. Their empire was in serious decline and to appease the gods human sacrifice was stepped up to proportions that gripped the populace with constant fear and misery. Aztec society was cannibalising itself.
Omens in the sky and elsewhere that fulfilled ancient prophecies about the destruction of their empire were observed.
And then through the mist large ships were seen moving towards the coast, bringing a new culture and new religion. Unfortunately for the Aztecs this was to spell more death and tragedy. Within a few years most had died of smallpox.
However, on the ruins of Aztec civilization a new nation, Mexico, was created. A vibrant mix of the old culture and the new one.
Many now fear a dying Western Civilization has begun cannibalising its citizens too in the sad hope of injecting some life into its decaying self.
UFO activity has never been greater. UFO sightings are happening daily in every corner of the globe. Evidence of alien visitation and a government cover-up is believed by many UFO enthusiasts to be irrefutable.
Many UFO researchers are certain that soon large ships will be seen through the mist by us too. This time they will appear in the skies, not the seas, to save us from our miserable stagnation. Many fear that like the Spaniards they will bring indescribable misery and eventual annihilation.
Other scholars disagree. As far as they are concerned ETs should just fire up their UFO engines now and head to planet earth for immediate open contact. Humanity has hit a wall. There is little point letting us fester for much longer, drowning in our own waste. Let our minds be set free in the vast expanses of the galaxy, they argue.
Will ETs also bring a new religion from the stars?
It’s time for ‘longer boats’ to be ‘coming to win us’ in the words of Yusuf Islam/Cat Stevens.
Racists and xenophobes can stop worrying about Mexicans crossing the border. Soon we will all be Mexicans.

Air France tragedy: UFO connections beyond coincidence

When I heard of the horrific Air France tragedy one of the first thoughts that came to my mind was the obvious 'Is there a UFO connection?, I then fleetingly thought of doing a story but decided against it as some might regard it in poor taste.
I feel for the victims as much as anyone but in my case and in relation specifically to my own research the UFO connections to this accident cannot be ignored.

The above articles written by myself say it all and really need no explanation, but I will paraphrase:
Last year I wrote extensively about another Airbus 330 that experienced electrical failure in what I believed to be a UFO hot spot.
Earlier this year I wrote an article about two UFO sightings in Brazil. One sighting, which occurred near Fortaleza received a surprising number of emails from government departments of nations spanning Asia to Europe.
A number of correspondents specifically asked if I had phone number of Mr Nilton Novaes, who photographed the UFO. The article also noted that the disc-like UFOs involved in the Urubici sighting caused electrical failure in the car belonging to the witness, who also managed to get photographs.
The last set of articles discusses my conclusion that a vortex entrance, that visiting 'unmanned' UFOs come through, exists in a mountainous region of Brazil, possibly near Fortaleza.
Asian and European national agencies are currently in Fortaleza looking for UFOs and the photo taken by Nilton Noveas (below) might well be the first government certified picture of an alien craft you have ever seen.
The event was a massive tragedy, however for me at least, the UFO connections cannot be ignored and this article is in no way is an attempt to exploit the event to peddle hocus-pocus. As far as I am concerned this is more real than any article that merely talks of electronics failure.

Just in: Extraterrestrial UFO crew filmed in Spain

UFO buffs are studying a film that allegedly was taken by shocked locals on a farm near the town of Alboraya in the Spanish province of Valencia. It is believed to have been filmed fairly recently.
The Video (below) shows alleged aliens burning a field after what appears to be a crop circle session. At least three extraterrestrials are seen in the footage. It is unkown how the alleged aliens got to the felid as no UFO can be seen anywhere.
UFO and paranormal expert Michael Cohen comments ‘This smells of a hoax. The alien silhouettes do look like rather typical Axthadans from a distance but that is hardly surprising as notions of Axthadan features have been filtering down to popular culture for years.’
‘When will hoaxers realize that footage that ends with a camera pointing pointlessly at the ground while its owner pants for breath don’t make things appear more realistic’ concluded Cohen.

Youtube UFO video amazes even sceptics

The UFO related YouTube video below is giving even the most hard-bitten debunkers nightmares. It compares alleged alien craft images from two very separate events. One is the well-known UFO video taken in Kumburgaz, Turkey in 2008. The other, the alleged image of what many believe might be an abandoned alien vehicle on the moon, supposedly captured on film during the Apollo 20 mission in 1976. NASA denies Apollo 20 ever took place.
The YouTube account holder who put together the clip calls himself 'Neo' online.
'I believe very strongly, that there are UFO and alien bases on the moon: even within it's interior. I believe they are science outposts studying what is happening on this planet, and the progress we as a race may be making.' Comments 'Neo'.

UFO base on earth: Location revealed
A secret UFO base being used by visiting extraterrestrials has been discovered by world governments and is being monitored and studied by scientists on a regular basis.
The mysterious archipelago of Tierra del Fuego at the southernmost tip of South America has always been an area of mystery and paranormal occurrences. This inhospitable, sub-polar region of immense natural beauty has never supported a large human population.
Prior to their decimation by white disease, small populations of Yaghan Indians inhabited the region. These extremely hardy people swam naked in freezing waters to collect shellfish for food. Ancient Yaghan legends tell of ‘Sky-people’ who visited them occasionally and taught them magic.
Rumours have long circulated amongst the current Chilean and Argentinean populations of a deep hole in the area that reaches to the centre of the earth.
This publication has received information from government sources suggesting that indeed a secret UFO base has been discovered by researchers on Tierra del Fuego’s remote Hoste Island: a territory of Chile. The UFO base is believed to exist beneath an icy plateau that lies between some of the island’s many mountain peaks. While the exact purpose of the base is not yet known, government scientists have monitored and recorded large luminous objects entering and exiting the plateau. Analysis of these objects has shown them to be consistent with other UFOs seen and picked up by radar: such as the enormous UFO seen above Alaska by Japan Airlines pilots in 1986.
At least four giant UFOs have been filmed disappearing beneath this plateau in the last decade. The UFOs were all large glowing yellow spheres. Some sceptical scientists have claimed that they might not be UFOs but rather other natural phenomenon such as ball lighting or even gaseous orbs created by weather conditions.
Government geologists have also tested the area and discovered that hollow space exists under a thick cover of ice and rock in the exact spot where UFOs have been filmed coming and going. Government scientists have decided not to drill into the ice due to serious safety concerns.
Some scientists believe that actual extraterrestrials might actually have recreated a habitable environment for themselves beneath the ice and rock. Unusually high levels of radiation have also been recorded in the area.
Arnoldo Rivera is one non-scientist who has seen unusual objects descend to the plateau. The Buenos Aires native and ex-pilot was on a hiking expedition in the area when he saw something he is unlikely to forget.
'I was hiking in the foothills on Hoste island when I saw this enormous glowing object descend into the mountains.' Arnold described the object as 'brilliant blue' rather than yellow as described above. 'I don't know if it was an alien spaceship but it was not of this earth'.
'As a pilot I never saw anything strange in the sky but heard many stories. Now I believe some of them' concluded Arnoldo.
What is the purpose of this UFO base? It is known that earth lies near some form of galactic highway or trajectory and that an exit off this 'highway' exists in Brazil. Is this base nothing more mysterious that the galactic equivalent of a roadside motel where weary alien travellers can rest before moving on?

The Mandaeans: Secret UFO and extraterrestrial wisdom

With all the talk about Nibiru, 2012 and UFOs it is amazing that many doing the talking have never heard of the Mandaeans, really amazing. It is like knowing all about Jesus and never having heard of the Jews. In fact it is amazing that Jews, Muslims and Christians have hardly heard of these people, considering they, in all likelihood, are the possessors of the religion and heritage that gave birth to all of the three monotheistic religions and they are still around to tell their story even if no one wants to hear it. So unknown is this grouping that even spell-check on Microsoft Word doesn’t recognise their name: yet none of this should diminish their incredible importance.
So who are the Mandaeans? Firstly there are about fifty thousand of them left in the world. Most of them lived in Iraq as a cohesive group for over four thousand years until America decided to go in to that country and help create the chaos that now engulfs the place. Ironically, Saddam Hussein was a great friend of theirs and protected them. Bizarrely Saddam understood their immense importance while the west clearly didn’t.
In the aftermath of the invasion of Iraq it was said that since Saddam Hussein was no longer around to protect them they would be safer outside their ancestral land, the land they have lived in for least four thousand years. The vast majority left for Syria and Jordan, allegedly for this reason. All of those that were able to moved much further away. In what must have been one of history's crassest shows of lack of humanity and ignorance, those who made the initial mistake of heading to Australia were branded as serious terror threats and then locked up for years in barbaric detention centres. Some Mandaeans attempted suicide in this horrific situation, many were psychologically scarred for life by these events.
Strange as the Mandaeans are vegetarians and pacifists par excellence. There exists no record of any Mandaean committing the crime of murder for two thousand years. Perhaps that was Australia’s way of thanking the group for the entire range of ‘Judeo-Christian’ beliefs that supposedly underpin our society.
Anyway, let 's move on to the history and beliefs of the Mandaeans: Much confusion and ignorance exists regarding the Mandaeans and their history.
The orientalist E.S Drower inaccurately listed their beliefs as the following:
- A supreme formless Entity, the expression of which in time and space is creation of spiritual, etheric, and material worlds and beings.
- Dualism: a cosmic Father and Mother, Light and Darkness, Right and Left, syzygy in cosmic and microcosmic form.
- As a feature of this dualism, counter-types, a world of ideas.
- The soul is portrayed as an exile, a captive: her home and origin being the supreme Entity to which she eventually returns.
- Planets and stars influence fate and human beings, and are also places of detention after death.
- A saviour spirit or saviour spirits which assist the soul on her journey through life and after it to 'worlds of light'.
- A cult-language of symbol and metaphor. Ideas and qualities are personified.
- 'Mysteries', i.e. sacraments to aid and purify the soul, to ensure her rebirth into a spiritual body, and her ascent from the world of matter.
- Great secrecy is enjoined upon initiates; full explanation of 1, 2, and 8 being reserved for those considered able to understand and preserve the gnosis.
According to Wikipedia:
'Mandaeans believe in marriage and procreation, and in the importance of leading an ethical and moral lifestyle in this world, placing a high priority upon family life. Consequently, Mandaeans do not practice celibacy or asceticism. Mandaeans will, however, abstain from strong drink and red meat. They look forward to a future liberated from the influence of the Torah, which they regard as evil in origin.'
The key holy book of the Mandaeans is known as the Ginza Rabba.
The above-mentioned beliefs, however, by no means represent the inner core of their belief system and a mere glimpse into the Mandaean holy books will well confirm this. Mandaeans fully understood the boundaries of tolerance of the ‘great religions’ and would only reveal to outsiders a version of their faith that would ensure the safety and survival of the group.
For hundreds of years the Mandaeans have pretended to be ‘Christians of St John’ in order to avoid persecution by both Christian and Islamic rulers as a pre-Biblical and pre-Koranic religion. This name refers to the fact that the group does in fact regard St John as a prophet, the only post-Abrahamic Judeo-Christian figure they do revere, seemingly due to his respect for and use of water and baptism as means of achieving purity (Immersing oneself in running water is a key Mandaean religious activity): Jesus however is in fact regarded as a false messiah and even a demon. In fact as mentioned above, the Mandaeans regard all Biblical characters starting with Abraham and beyond as rather evil. They do however revere Adam, Shem, Noah and even Abraham’s father the Idol maker Terach as holy men.
Agenda driven Christian scholars have always claimed the group are a Gnostic offshoot of Second Temple era Judaism, so as not to shake or challenge the foundations of Christianity. This explanation doesn’t wash for many reasons and is clearly false.
Firstly, it is unlikely that a religion based on Judaism would reject all biblical prophets from Abraham and beyond or have as one of its central tenets the belief that the Torah derives from an evil source and when the messianic era arrives the world will be washed of it's infuence. The language the Mandaeans speak has been confirmed as being one of purest linguistic descendants of the ancient Chaldean-Babylonian tongue. The obvious importance of water and the requirement to live near running water that springs from the ground are an indication of the Mandaeans true Sumerian lineage. Are these people no less than the descendants of the very priests of the most ancient of all faiths?
The Mandaeans themselves guard their lineage fanatically: in order to be part of the group all ancestors must be Mandaeans, and no exceptions are allowed. The community accept no converts and a Mandaean must marry another Mandaean with all four grandparents and all eight great-grandparents being Mandaeans and so forth. This has obviously hampered the growth of the group in terms of numbers.
While in the past the Mandaeans chose survival and were happy for outsiders to be ignorant of their proud heritage, now however Mandaeans are more likely to proudly tell the world who they really are: The direct descendants in terms of culture, religion and genetics of the ancient Babylonians and the Sumerians before them! The main Mandaean website www.mandaeanunion.org says no less.
So what do the Mandaeans really believe in more specifically and how is this relevant to UFO’s and Nibiru?
Consider this well known Mandaean legend of the Ginza Rabba:
Once the melki and the 'uthri, twelve thousand of
them, wished to see Melek Ziwa (the Light King), the
great god of all, for each had a question to ask about the
created world, such as 'Why are the trees green ?' 'Why
does this happen, and why that?' and so on. Each one of
them had a question. They mounted vehicles like ships
that moved by electrum and they rose from Awathur
until they reached the highest heaven. When they had
attained the highest heaven, a blinding light fell upon
them, and they could not gaze, but fell on their faces.
Only Hiwel Ziwa, who was with them, remained upright.
The Mandaeans still maintain most of the classical Babylonian beliefs such as those regarding Enuma Elish and the significance of the planet Nibiru. The Mandaeans worship a multitude of Gods corresponding to ancient Babylonian ideas of divinity. Such Gods include the well known Marduk, Anu, Enlil and Enki as well as the less known mother goddess Ru Ha (associated by the Mandaeans with the biblical God Jehovah) . Here we have a cosmogony derived from the ancient Sumerians, and we may regard the Mandaeans as the modern representatives of the faith of Abzu and Eridu.
The beliefs of the Mandaeans are clearly not based on Judaism but rather the other way around. They mirror those of the ancient Babylonians and form the basis of much of the legends found in the book of Genesis: The creation story, Adam and Eve, Noah's ark and the tower of Babel all spring from the Mandaean faith. While the concept of the divine might differ, the basic ideas of this ancient faith clearly influenced Abraham and the development of early Judaism. The ethical aspect of the religion differs little from the morality of the Ten Commandments. Much of the Jewish Kabbalah is remarkably similar to Mandaean mysticism.
Not surprisingly astrology plays a very big part of the faith and culture and by all accounts the Mandaeans have inherited the Sumerian traditions in this respect: The movements of stars and planets are regarded as having a major influence on our lives. Little is known of the Mandaean attitudes towards 2012, however of massive interest is the fact that the entire community recently uprooted and left its homeland…of four thousand years. This despite assurances by the current Iraqi government that the group will be protected from enemies.
This seems strange as the group has religiously remained the area they regard as the earth's navel, once known as Mesopotamia, for 4000 years and the region has seen more than its fair share of strife and war over the millennia and the current conflict would hardly stand out in this respect. All that were able have gone to either far-flung Canada or Australia. Why have these rather isolated areas been chosen? Do the true inheritors of Sumerian astrology know something about a coming Middle Eastern catastrophe?
The Mandaeans also believe in Great Spirit Men that came from the stars to teach their ancient Sumerian ancestors the arts of civilization. These are, of course, the Annunaki. Fascinatingly ancient Sumerian engravings depict Annunaki arriving on earth in UFO like craft. It is believed that the Mandaeans today are waiting for the Annunaki's imminent return. These inheritors of the most ancient of astrological knowledge might well have 2012 marked as the year their ancient allies return from the stars and reward them for millennia of holding the torch of faith and knowledge, longer than any other group on earth.
So do the Mandaeans possess secret knowledge of the UFO phenomena and of a coming open alien presence on earth? Are they preparing for a cataclysmic catastrophe in the year 2012?

UFO mysteries: Giant 'Lunar Creature' baffles researchers

Recently we did a story about a most unusual object or 'creature' (image above) that was seen by an All News Web reader and UFO researcher, using Google Moon, on the lunar surface. Since doing the story we have been flooded by emails on the topic and surprisingly no-one has been able to conclusively say what the object is.
Some theories that have been put forward to explain what the thing might be include: The remains of a crashed UFO, a giant alien creature or an ancient alien structure.
Others have claimed that the object might only appear as if it is on the moon but is fact floating in space. Readers who have examined the site using Google Moon have commented that this explanation is highly unlikely to be correct as the object seems fairly firmly planted on the ground.
We encourage readers to use Google Moon to check it out themselves.
The co-ordinates are 25°58°01.89"N 3°31°03.19"E.
Many believe that aliens use the Moon as a base to park their larger mothership UFOs while using smaller more discreet craft to explore Earth.

UFO mysteries: Bizarre 'giant creature' spotted on the Moon

A UFO fan and reader using Google Moon to explore the Appenine Mountains Lunar region, the landing site of the Apollo 15 mission, noticed what looks like a giant creature roaming the surface of the moon (Above) near Hadley Rille.
The co-ordinates are 25°58°01.89"N 3°31°03.19"E.
He is curious if anyone has any ideas what this object is.
Many UFO enthusiasts believe alien base exists somewhere on the moon and some researchers are of the opinion that the moon is an artificial structure altogether. Some of the more 'out there' UFO buffs believe that features like the Hadley Rille (Rima Hadley: Below), said to be ancient lava channels, are in fact the remnants of underground alien built tunnels or simply tubes containing 'wiring'. Is this object a jutting out end of some alien underground structure?
It has been claimed that aliens warned human astronauts off the Moon. Is this massive creature an 'extraterrestrial guard dog' determined that humans don't go near this part of the moon again? Perhaps another reader has a more conventional explanation?

No to UFO disclosure: Inside China’s cover-up
Outside of the United States no nation knows more about UFO and extraterrestrial affairs than China. Recently a decision was made by the ultra-secretive agency that was specifically set up by the State Council to co-ordinate extra-terrestrial affairs on behalf of The Peoples Republic of China. It was decided after a ten year period of research that under no circumstances will the Chinese Government reveal any knowledge of extraterrestrials or UFO visitations to the populace. Members of this agency concluded, after a secret meeting held on the grounds of China’s highly restricted Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Centre (BACCC), that the public is decades away from being able to cope with a knowledge of extraterrestrial civilizations and UFO knowledge.
China’s cover-up is a highly complicated affair. It encompasses at least thirty agencies and research institutes around the country as well as dozens of astronomical stations.
It is not easy to penetrate this world of secrecy but some details have managed to filter through.
At the epicentre of China’s UFO and ET cover-up are two to three organizations. One is the highly secretive 'Sixth Research Institute'. This is both a division of the Air Force and the MSS (Chinese Intelligence Agency). Little is known about this institute. It is ostensibly a signals intelligence (SIGINT) agency however this acts as a cover for its most secretive of activities: The receiving of communications from extraterrestrial civilizations.
The second organization involved is the Chengdu Military Aircraft Design Institute abbreviated to CADI. Behind a façade of aircraft design it is believed UFO technology is reverse-engineered on its facilities. The retrieval of a number of small UFO probes in remote parts of China over the last twenty years has meant that the institute has progressed in its activities markedly in recent times.
The final organization is the Beijing Aerospace Control and Command Centre or the BACCC. This is a huge organization similar to NASA. A highly secretive institute entirely devoted to UFO and extraterrestrial studies hides within its massive grounds. This institute liaises with various astronomical observatories around the country to track UFOs. In turn, the Air force is notified of sightings for the purpose of scrambling jets in some situations.
The MSS (China's secret service) itself or specifically a division of the MSS known as 'Group 9' ensures secrecy throughout this web of agencies.
It is believed that the super-secret committee that oversees all extraterrestrial affairs consists of at least ten individuals. Some of the individuals believed to sit on this committee are:
Professor Cao Chi of CADI
Commander Hua Wang, believed to be the head of the Sixth Research Institute
Yao Junen, a Professor at Beijing’s Aerospace University
Wang Chong Yu, a little known professor at the politically connected Tsinghua University
Xi Zheng, the head of BACCC
Ding Wen Chang, an ex-general of the Chinese Air Force
This committee is in turn answerable to Geng Hui Chan, the current head of China’s secret service
So how much does China know?
China is aware of numerous UFOs manned and unmanned that have entered its airspace. China is also communicating with aliens via UFOs within earth’s airspace and in outer space. These agencies are familiar with an advanced humanoid race originating from Andromeda Galaxy that has made discreet contact with humanity. In English this race has been referred to for at least three years as the Ax Thadans. It is not known how they are referred to in Chinese.
This race has agreed not to go over the heads of governments and reveal their presence openly but it is expected that governments move quickly on paving the way for open contact. The Chinese administration clearly wants to buy as much time as possible and hang on to power for as long as it can: without the interference of aliens.
This might not suit the Ax Thadan agenda. Let us hope China doesn’t miss its chance to reveal what it knows before the extraterrestrial visitors themselves decide it’s time to let humans know of their presence. China’s decision not to disclose will disappoint many within its very large UFO community.

UFO or bizarre natural phenomenon?
An image of a boulder-like object that appears as if suspended mid-air has China’s paranormal researchers totally stumped.
Mr Gang Hao was taking photos of scenery near his house in the city of Gushan on the 19th of July. After he had the photos developed he noticed this most peculiar feature in one of the images (above and below). He contacted paranormal researchers but they haven’t been able to solve the puzzle. Is this some sort of UFO disguised as an earthly rock or is it the result of an unknown natural phenomenon?
Did some force send a rock into the sky at that particular moment or could this be a meteor? Mr Hao didn’t hear anything at the time. What do you think?

Stunning UFO filmed by Russian Farmer

This rather remarkable UFO was filmed by a farmer apparently working in his fields in Russia. Not much is known about the video (below), the exact location of its filming or the individual that filmed it. It is receiving a fair bit of coverage on Russian UFO and paranormal forums and many UFO experts seem rather impressed with it.
One UFO researcher, Mr Avi Moas of Las Vegas, Nevada, referred to the craft as a 'Mothership'.
Allegedly the filming took place on May 3 of this year. UFOs are seen all over Russia and the former Soviet Union and for many rural folk they are an almost common occurrence.

Nigeria: UFO sightings, legends and ancient warnings

As discussed in this article UFO encounters are rather common in Nigeria. Many researchers believe that the Yoruba people, most of whom live in Nigeria, have a special connection to ETs. The Yoruba religion has been a major influence across West Africa and even in many parts of the Americas where the Yoruba were taken as slaves.
In the book 'Zulu Shaman: Dreams, Prophecies & Mysteries' by Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa discusses extensively the extraterrestrial connections in Africa in General.
Eric Lerner, a scholar and admirer of ancient African wisdom noted in an article that 'that there is considerable discussion of extraterrestrial life among the holy men and people of Africa and that they are perhaps wisely reluctant to share it with Westerners. He states that he wishes that Western authorities would entertain a more open dialogue on the subject. The issue here is honesty. Mutwa believes that keeping people in ignorance over any topic is oppressive. When communication shuts down, fear and hatred have a beginning.'
'I do not want to get into any debate about extraterrestrials, but I will attest that I am familiar with extraterrestrial mythos from my Yoruba elders.' noted Lerner in this same article.
In the article 'Spacemen In African History?' By Yemi Ogunsola that originally appeared in the 'The Guardian' newspaper of Nigeria the topic of Nigerian Yoruba ET connections was delved into in great detail:
Have you taken a long, hard look at the typical masquerade? And an equally long hard look at the typical American astronaut or Russian cosmonaut? Have you noticed the curious semblance between the two? The face piece, especially? Can there possibly be a connection between, say, Yuri Gagarin, the 'first man in space' and a common Yoruba Tombolo (type of masque) cartwheeling to the cheers of a market crowd? Curiously, the Yoruba call the masquerade ara orun (visitor from heaven. But, is the astronaut not an ara orun too? After all, he travels in deep space (the heavens ñ even farther than conventional planes). Could it be that the cult of Egungun (masquerade) really is in remembrance of beings who in the ancient past travelled form the 'heavens' to the earth? Yoruba tradition interprets ara orun (masquerades) as spirits of long-dead fathers returned to visit their offsprings on earth. But why call such spirits ara orun rather than oku orun (spirit of the dead). Oku orun is more descriptive of someone who is in heaven in consequence of having died here on earth. Ara orun suspiciously sounds like a "living being" naturally resident in 'heaven' but who elects to visit the earth. The 'Ara' part of the name, in Yoruba means a 'resident of' or a 'visitor from'.
The article concludes:
'The real meaning of egungun is Mayegun that is, "keep the world in order" or "those who keep the world running smoothly." In the distant past, Ifatokun related, there occurred a deluge, which threatened all life on earth. Seeing the earth so imperilled, Orunmila, and other (Irunmales the divinities) who were resident on Earth then, sent an S.O.S. to Orun, (Heaven). In response, the Ara orun, came to the Earth in special costumes. These costumes, said Ifatokun, had the unique property of drying up any portion of the inundated earth over which they were swung. The "Egungun" cult sprang from this incident of the invitation of these heavenly beings. The special and elderly egungun who wear imitations of these today are called Babalago, Ifatokun said. So, the Egungun (Mayegun) cam from orun (heaven, Space) to rescue aye (Earth) form the deluge. The modern interpretation of the Ifatokun story is glaring: When the deluge hit the Earth, extraterrestrial beings resident on Earth, among whom was Orunmila, himself, sent an S.O.S to their home planet. And in response, extraterrestial hydrologists landed on Earth in spacesuits (and, by inference, space craft) to rid the Earth of the excess water!. Of course, the matter does not end here. Some sailent questions have been raised, especially by this last account. For instance, Was Orunmila truly an extraterrestial? were the Irunmales or orisas (divinities) extra terrestrials? For instance, was Orunmila truly an extraterrestial? Were the Irunmales or Orisas, extraterrestials? The answer is Yes.'
Ancient Yoruba traditions also stress that at some point in the future a catatrophe will threaten the world's very existence and these beings return to save some remnants of humanity.
If Shamans in Africa believe we are on the brink a planetary holocaust perhaps we should turn to older cultures such as the Yoruba for answers?

Breaking News, Japan: UFO almost causes Asian WW3
An astonishing revelation regarding UFOs is being reported in some initial media reports relating to the very recent Japanese false alarm regarding an alleged North Korean missile attack. The entire population of Japan is in a state of utter panic and anger and an international crisis might well all be the result of irresponsible actions of extraterrestrial tourists flying a UFO from North Korea to Japan on a sightseeing expedition.
As the story initially unfolded the remarkable information emerged that the highest levels of the Japanese defence establishment conceded that their most advanced radar system has picked up, in the words of their official press release, an ‘Unidentified flying object’ (UFO).
The event is reported to have also caused utter chaos in the Japanese Prime Minister’s office.
The drama, which came close to causing a fully fledged war began when Japan's most advanced Radar warning system known as the ‘FPS-5’ picked up an object moving from North Korea to Japan and sounded off a warning signal on the morning of April 4 2009.
Around the same time intelligence reports emanating from South Korea and the United States had been recently warning that a supposed peaceful satellite launch by the North Koreans known as ‘Starlight No.2’ is in fact a cover for the launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles ‘Taepodong-2’, designed to attack Japanese and U.S targets.
As a result of this security heads immediately came to the conclusion that the North Koreans had launched a missile attack on Japan and alerted the press and the Government, Sending the Prime Minister’s office into wartime chaos.
The Prime Minister’s office immediately sent an email to 43 local Government offices stating that the ‘The North Koreans have fired a ‘F1’ Missile’-plunging these regional offices into a state of sheer mayhem.
Meanwhile initial press releases began the job of alerting residents in high-risk areas and the authorities started making emergency plans to evacuate the most vulnerable populations. The Department of Transport and the Navy were alerted and went into emergency mode.
Shortly thereafter it was conceded that a mistake was made and the object detected officially declared a UFO by the Japanese Defence Office. It was also confirmed that no Korean missile was heading towards Japan. Residents of areas considered most vulnerable to North Korean attacks and the general population are now furious at the Government.
The radar images have now been sent for analysis and no conclusions as to what the incredibly fast object was have emerged. It is unlikely they ever will. As Governments hide their knowledge of extraterrestrial craft in their airspace from each other and their citizens it is hardly surprising that such blunders occur.
Some Asian ufologists are suggesting that the Aliens sent the Japanese government a belated message letting them know it was just one of their craft-hence the mysterious turn-around.
It appears that an official UFO cover-up has swung well into action with earlier regional news reports reporting the fact that the object was declared a UFO by the Japanese Department of Defence while later ones are reporting that the alarm was merely a 'false positive' and carefully avoiding any mention of UFOs.
Unsurprisingly, no western reports mention that the object that the radars picked up was declared a UFO by the defence authorities.
If any aliens are reading this article they should be alerted to how dangerous their semi-secret joy flights can be. If they are keeping themselves covert for our sakes perhaps they should re-consider and come out in the open; even if our ‘representatives’ would rather they didn’t.

UFO filmed above Moscow during daylight

As more Russians purchase mobile telephones and consequently more people carry photographic and filming devices greater numbers of images of the mysterious craft or UFOs that have been seen in Russian skies for decades are brought to the worlds attention.
This craft (footage below) was filmed above Moscow on 25 April of this year by one mobile phone user. This UFO footage is creating a stir on Russian conspiracy websites and forum participants are split between thinking it is an alien craft, a secret government project or a private experimental plane. All agree that it is too large to be a kite and the consensus leans towards a military craft.

China’s UFO incident they didn’t want you to discover, photo
At around 10:30PM On August 6 2003 an incredible event reminiscent of a scene from ‘Independence Day’ or ‘War of the Worlds’ occurred in the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
A huge mothership or even ‘flying city’ was seen by thousands of residents. The city-sized craft was clearly seen just above a thin layer of cloud. It was emitting green fluorescent light, pulsating and its energy lines were burning contours in the cloud.
Terrified witnesses ran for cover, amazed onlookers watched in awe and commuters literally stoped their cars in the middle of the roads to gaze upwards. Students frantically climbed up buildings to gain a closer look and reporters, hearts pounding, scrambled for photos.
The UFO hovered over the city for at least three hours and finally took off at a speed estimated by a journalist who witnessed the craft at ‘ten times that of a plane’. Airport authorities were contacted but alleged to have picked up nothing on their radars and no aircraft were above the city that night.
The chief forecaster at the Guangdong Province Meteorological Station went on record stating that the entire event was little more than an optical illusion based on city lights reflecting against clouds.
Witnesses, thousands of them, to this day claim that is simply impossible and utterly absurd: it is common knowledge in Guangzhou that in 2003 an alien spacecraft popped in to say ‘Hi.’

None of this was reported in the West at all and some local Ufologists believe that Western Governments viewed this event as ‘too hot’ and better hushed up. Reports and photos (such as the amazing one below) are all that is left of the event, however the wizened residents of Guangzhou now know they are not alone in this universe and will never forget that earth shattering night back in 2003.

UFO events in Nigeria

The question is sometimes asked as to why UFOs are not seen often in Africa.
The answer is simple: They are seen. All the time and as much as anywhere else.
Much of Africa's population still live traditional lives in isolated rural areas. Most Africans simply do not have access to the Internet, Communications networks or media outlets that westerners take for granted.Most do not own mobile phones with or without camera's. As a result virtually all UFO sightings remain unreported but by no means forgotten by those that experience them.
Some sighting reports do make it to the west and Nigeria is one nation that is known to experience high levels of UFO activity.
Recent Nigerian sightings include:
'On February 27 of this year one witness to a UFO event alleged in a report made to MUFON: 'I was showing my family the crescent moon with Venus and was trying to figure out if Venus was the bright star we noticed the night before, so I thought I'd just watch the sky for a while to see if any other bright star would become visible...as I was staring at the moon...a very bright star SUDDENLY appeared on the left hand side, parallel to the moon! As I gasped it started travelling to the left in a flash and an absolute straight line, so I called my husband over to take a look (he was seated 5feet away from me and the window), he got there just in time to see it and in another flash it vanished. In detail, when it appeared it was golden/whitish and stationary like a huge star, then started suddenly moving very fast to the left and travelled a very short distance horizontally and seemed to swell with a greenish tinge and what looked like the beginning of a tail when it suddenly stopped and ...gone..Vanished! NO sound at all! NO smoke at all! NOTHING! Like it was never there!!! I am still stunned!'
Last year on the 1st of May the following most interesting event was reported to MUFON:
'My wife and I were both coming (walking) from my brother's place who just relocated to vicinity close to my place which is the same address written above. As we were walking, I looked at the sky (which I usually do just as a hobby) then, I saw two objects in the sky moving around. They were oval-disc like is shape and silverly (luminous) in appearance’s noticed they were darting around but one was more active than the other. Quite surprised at their movement, i realised what we saw were obviously aircrafts. To my knowledge, these crafts were unlike any man-made machine as they did not make any sound at least to our hearing.
It was dark when we eventually got home but to my surprise, my neighbours had also seen it, they didn’t really know what they were. But due to my knowledge on it (I have read and seen documentary) i knew they were UFO. At a point one was relatively stable but the second kept moving, darting around as if on observation mission. There was no public power supply so the sky was quite clear. I was awed by the reality facing me, all what I have read and seen on documentary seems to be facing me that night. I watch till two minutes after 9 pm before going to bed.
The following evening, my brother in-law with his girlfriend visited us from Mile 2, a place where my wife's parents live. I told him about what I saw the previous night and he corroborated it that they saw it too. I later showed him the illustration in my Longman dictionary. He agreed that what they saw was very similar to the UFO illustration.
But funny enough no media reported it.
I would have posted this UFO observation earlier but due to how things are, am just gaining access to an internet.'
One suspects these reports are the tip of the iceberg as far as African sightings are concerned and as they illustrate, the location on the globe has little effect on descriptions given by witnesses.

Japan: UFO snapped by photographer declared real by expert, photo

A photographer who took scenic shots on assignment for a Japanese hotel and tourism group last year noticed what appeared to be a fairly clear UFO in a number of the shots. Judging by the photos the UFO was moving on a sequential trajectory (Photo above).
The photographer, an employee of the Mutsumi Mori Group showed a number of fellow workers the images. They all felt that it might show a flying saucer and encouraged the photographer to take the images to a local UFO expert.
The object was subsequently declared to be a UFO.
The image was captured in the Ise-Shima National park, a popular tourist region known for its natural beauty on Honshu Island.
The appearance of the object itself appears to be consistent with other images and descriptions of the small probe UFOs which are entering earth's atmosphere through specific UFO vortex exits in various locations across the globe.
Governments are currently monitoring these objects that have a tendency to be captured on digital cameras.

UFO disclosure: What went wrong in France?
Last week UFO enthusiasts worldwide waited with baited breath for France to announce the words ‘We are not alone’. The end of the week came and no such declaration was made. Many were disappointed, myself not in the least. Frankly I was rather devastated. There was a real chance that disclosure could have occurred last week, so what went wrong?
The reality is that GEIPAN, an official semi-government organization set up specifically to investigate the UFO phenomenon has enough evidence times ten to confirm that extraterrestrials are visiting our planet. A number of researchers within the group are keen to get the word out and they have backers in the wider CNES (Frances equivalent of NASA) structure within which they operate.
My own belief is that the US isn’t quite as worried as people think about the prospect of France disclosing. I also do not subscribe to the more highly conspiratorial ideas regarding a world-wide cover-up that one often hears from UFO buffs. I do believe there are very good reasons why today’s power elite might not like disclosure. An open ET presence would have a massive and irreversible effect on current power structures on our planet.
All that said, an announcement by France simply stating that they have concrete evidence that some UFOs are of ET origin is a far cry from Barack Obama standing next to an alien at a news conference on the White House lawn. It might also be great way to ease the world into any eventual reality: the future cannot be pushed off indefinitely.
The French political establishment is fairly apathetic to disclosure but by no means opposed to it. The current research Minister, Valerie Pecresse is regarded as a reformer and open-minded. The ingredients for disclosure are there. All it would take is those in GEIPAN (who have the evidence) and other supporters within various relevant departments presenting the idea to the minister and convincing her that disclosure would result in positive publicity. All very doable.
A very different situation indeed from the US or for that matter my native Australia where a culture of secrecy is enshrined in any matters seen as relating to security. So why didn’t it happen?
I cannot count the emails I have received criticising myself for reporting an upcoming event that clearly was not in the finality a certainty.Many thought I should have only reported this news if I was utterly and certifiably sure that it would occur. It is this very behaviour that keeps us waiting for disclosure to happen.
The employees of GEIPAN are scientists and by very nature highly tentative and cautious. Every day is a better day than today to disclose. It’s always going to happen next week. 'We just need a little more evidence and we need to finalise this or that detail’. Last week was such a week. It should have occurred, it was planned, but 'perhaps now might not be the optimum time’.
I was accused of looking for publicity with my story. Scientists don’t really like publicity. Scientists also love knowing things others don’t know about. The day disclosure of an alien presence happens is the day it all stops being their baby. Within a week no one will be interested in an obscure French researcher’s opinion on aliens, it will be Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie who will be called upon for words of wisdom regarding ETs.
Nonetheless disclosure should happen. The cover-up is in our minds. A product of scientific caution prevailing over what might be the biggest news item of all. We need to do our bit to convince those that have the information that it is worth putting out today. There are no MIBs stopping them.
Most of all we need to make sure that those with the proof understand that even in our initial excitement, we won’t forget that it was they who made disclosure possible.
I apologise if I upset people over last week but I can’t honestly say that I regret what I did. Disclosure in France and a number of other countries is something that is only a heartbeat away. At least, as a result of what I did GEIPAN received a few more emails than usual, letting them know that some of us care for what they do.

Italian Government analyzes police UFO shots

An Italian policeman took pictures (above and below) of a fast moving disc-shaped UFO recently. The UFO pictures were taken at Lake Laceno in the very beautiful tourist area near the town of Montello in the Campania region.
The images have been sent to the RIS, or the police information technology department to be analysed by scientists.
Italy has recently more or less conceded UFO reality and the fact that it's government studies the phenomenon. Major media outlets have picked up on this story. Italy has recently had a rash of UFO sightings.
UFO sightings world-wide have gone through the roof in the last month to a point where this publication is having trouble keeping up with them.
Many UFO experts have been predicting a massive increase in sightings. This is seen as an exercise by aliens themselves to prepare humanity for open contact within the next five years. A race now referred to as Axthadans by top-secret government study groups seems to be preparing earth for integration into a wider community of galactic and inter-galactic civilizations.

UFO arrival 2013, DARPA plans the party.

A few months ago I received a series of emails from someone calling herself Tina. 'Tina' claimed to have spent some time working within the Pentagon's DARPA agency rewriting and relaying messages regarding possible first contact with an alien race in the year 2013. This alien race is believed to be planning an open daylight landing of a UFO on Planet Earth.
As information was very compartmentalized within the environment that 'Tina' worked in her knowledge of details was sketchy.
My own research has led me to believe that contrary some of the information contained in Tina's emails, contact with aliens is not a two-way affair and does not involve unequivocal and unambiguous messages. Rather, DARPA has interpreted somewhat cryptic signals received by UFO probes as indicating an intention to initiate open contact in the year 2013.
While I am fairly certain that 'Tina' is genuine I also suspect her information might be incomplete.
Tina eventually felt too nervous about divulging government secrets to a media outlet. She sent me one further email, the details of which I did not publicise in the hope of getting more information. This was the last email I recieved from 'Tina'. I doubt we will recieve anything further.
Allegedly DARPA is toying with grand ideas for first contact that involve showcasing the best that human civilization has to offer.
The UFO welcoming party will include the heads of states of major nations, who will be given the choice of being present in the flesh or as a real-time hologram. The President of the United States and his family are expected to be present in hologram form only.
Major cultural icons will be invited to join the welcoming party. Individuals considered for this honor include Steven Spielberg, Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Sir Paul McCartney, Barbra Streisand, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson (obviously no longer possible) and Tom Cruise as well Intellectual and scientific icons such as Stephen Hawkins.
IT and business figures such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Sergey Brin, Rupert Murdoch and Richard Branson will also be invited to the party.
It is believed that one place will be made available for a UFO researcher (Stanton Friedman?)
DARPA is unsure of where the arriving aliens are planning to land their UFO but it is believed it might be at a historical site such as the Greek Acropolis. Tina was aware of suggestions of some kind of 3D light show focusing on human achievement, peacefulness (yeah right) tolerance and ability to adapt.
I realise many UFO researchers will find this information hard to swallow. Before they pass judgement they should ask themselves whether it stands to reason that in the event of an open landing a welcoming party would be planned. They should also ask themselves what type of party 'the powers that be' would plan?
In doing so they might realise that indeed reality is often rather absurd. Let's just hope the arriving aliens approve of the party. Should they get violent, humanity might be robbed of it's best and brightest.

Did a UFO delay the opening of a Moscow shopping mall?

Earlier this month we published this story about a stunning alleged UFO video taken in on the grounds of a newly built shopping mall in the town of Kashira on the outskirts of Moscow. Now new information from Russia has emerged regarding the incident. Apparently the management of the shopping centre was so concerned about the event that they delayed the opening of the mall and set up their own surveillence cameras to see what was going on.
The marketing manager for the mall claims the cameras did pick up some anomalous white images but not the actual flying saucer that was seen previously.
A local ufologist was also called in but assured the worried developers that the UFOs posed no threat and noted that they were very common in this particular area.

Russia: UFO delays plane from landing at Moscow Airport

Media outlets in Russia are reporting a curious incident that occurred on Saturday, May 16 in the afternoon. A flight from Krasnoyarsk to Moscow had to abort a landing and go around again due to a radar picking up a UFO in the vicinity of runway 25 of Moscow airport.
Aviation authorities are now studying the radar images but have yet to determine what the small craft that was hovering in the area however was not seen visually might have been. Russian UFO researchers will no doubt be eagerly awaiting the conclusions of the investigation into this event. In the past UFO activity has been common in the vicinity of Russian airports.

Breaking news: Amazing UFO seen by many in Kiev, Ukraine

Kiev in the Ukraine has gone UFO mad with the news that numerous residents living in one of its suburban areas saw a UFO on May 21 at around 11pm.
The stunned residents saw the glowing craft hang motionless in the sky, then grow in size and descend to earth. As the UFO descended it appeared to grow a fiery tail. Electricity in the area was interrupted and a loud bang was heard before the craft disappeared altogether.
Local ufologists have claimed recently that UFOs constantly visit Kiev. The question on the minds of many locals is why?

Government scientist discusses UFO vortex exits

Elmira Samedova is a scientist working at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences where she specialises in anomalous phenomena.
She recently did an interview with Azerbaijan Daily newspaper where she discussed the UFO vortex or stargate exits that All News Web has been extensively talking about. ( It should be noted that Ms. Samedova is not one of our sources.)
She alleges that only one such exit exists near earth but as our planet rotates UFOs can be seen exiting this stargate or vortex from different countries at different times. She somewhat confirms the notion within the interview that world governments are observing UFOs exiting this stargate.
According to Ms Samedova many of these UFOs are merely en route to elsewhere in the Galaxy. These stargates are points in the universe where space bends or a tear in the space-time fabric is located.

Cosmonaut Georgi Grechko: UFO and ET visits are real.
Georgie Grechko, aged 78, is a Soviet cosmonaut who flew on three space flights: Soyuz 17, Soyuz 26, and Soyuz T-14. He also has a doctorate in mathematics and is a living legend in Russia. Grechko has gone on record stating that he believes that UFO visitation is real and that aliens have in fact been visiting earth for thousands of years.
He currently devotes his time to studying ancient megaliths which he believes are the work of UFO travelling aliens. He has visited most of world’s great ancient stone structures such as Stonehenge and the Egyptian Pyramids.
Grechko believes that aliens will return to earth openly on December 22-23 of 2012 (the end of the Mayan calender: see this article). He claims they will choose one of these ancient structures to land their UFO and he hopes to be there for the event.
Interestingly he proposes a theory similar to the one we wrote about here: Namely that the aliens come from a very small, cold planet at the edge of our own solar system.
My comment: The number of cosmonauts and astronauts (such as Edgar Mitchell) who have confirmed that UFOs are real and aliens are visiting earth should seriously bother UFO sceptics.

UFO disclosure: Are we really ready?
Two weeks ago I broke a story in English on a UFO event that occurred in China during the recent solar eclipse (see timeline below).
That story had all the ingredients of a major UFO event: Multiple witnesses, 9 of whom captured images in the form of film and photos (still images and film below). The object that was seen is said to have morphed it's shape and this can even be observed in the footage. Much of this footage is remarkable if not astounding and will not be debunked easily.
Amazingly the UFO looks almost identical to the description of the JAL 1986 UFO, one of the most credible UFO incidents ever.
The story has been reported in hundreds of Chinese news outlets including Xinhua, the official government paper which has confirmed that the images have been taken in for analysis by the authorities.
Now the story is travelling through Asia like wildfire. News sources in other Asian nations are picking up the story and the event is being discussed on every UFO forum based on that continent ( Asia Today article).
Yet other than All News Web no Western media source has as much as made mention of the incident and even the so called 'UFO community' has chosen to completely ignore the event. Why?
It appears that any suggestion that aliens dare take an interest in the Chinese is an affront to American ufologists. Ufology is a nationalistic affair, and the issue is not about aliens revealing their presence: that is not good enough. They have to reveal themselves only to Americans.
I myself have received email after email from ‘UFO researchers’ debunking this story and outright rejecting it on the basis of criteria that no American event would ever be subject to. Most of these emails were nothing less than pure ignorance and red-necked paranoia.
I was accused of making the whole event up despite Xinhua carrying the story: ‘I bet they got it from you’. On American UFO forums where the story did get to, people were warned: ‘Don’t open those damned Chinese sources: they will give your computer a virus’.
It doesn’t seem fair. The Chinese faithfully report all the big American UFO stories. Perhaps they shouldn’t. These so called ‘UFO researchers’ in the west should ask themselves the question: If they can’t set aside petty nationalist rivalries and outright racism how are they going to deal with aliens?
Are any extraterrestrials watching all of this? It appears they are right in keeping their presence hidden. We are not ready one bit.

UFO landings: Aliens crossing roads

The history of UFO and extraterrestrial sightings and encounters includes numerous accounts of people in cars seeing what they believe are aliens crossing roads. In many cases such incidents come close to causing road tragedies and on rare occasions they do indeed end in disaster.
MUFON, North America's largest UFO investigation operation, recently received this account from Florida of an event that took place in 1985:
'We had gone to Miami for a meeting and took our children. On the way home, I was driving into the night and everyone in the car was asleep. We were coming to a overpass-and I saw something in the road and I kept trying to figure out what it was and I was driving about 70 miles per hour and I started slowing down because I could not see what it was-then all of a sudden I slammed on the brakes because I saw 4 alien beings- they were moving in a straight line from one side of the highway going to the other side. (There was 2 tall ones and 2 much shorter ones) It looked like they had on a one piece skin tight outfit that even went over their heads. When I slammed on my brakes they all turned their heads toward the car and vanished. They all had oval heads with large eyes. I saw something out of the corner of my eye on the other side of the road and it was gone. Maybe like a flash. My family picked themselves up off the floor and asked what was going on and I told them. They made fun of me and I had tried to dismiss it, but I know what I saw.'
In China too, UFO and extraterrestrial events involving roads and drivers occasionally occur.
In the city of Xuanwei last month a 28 year old man was killed in an accident that involved no witnesses or other drivers. Shortly after the accident very unusual footprints (above) were found leading from the scene. Rumours were spread on Internet forums that the driver, who died shortly after being admitted to hospital, mentioned to medics that he saw a strange creature or alien crossing the road.
The story spread like wildfire and hundreds of locals turned up daily at the scene of the accident to view the footprints. Oddly, the marks were imprinted permanently on hard cement. Some have suggested the footprints might be that of a dog while others have noted that they are completely irregular.
It is unlikely the truth will ever be known.

Himalayan Bigfoot to undergo DNA testing

Making big news in China this week is a story about Himalaya's legendary Yeti or Bigfoot.
For centuries rumours of a half-man, half-ape that roams the upper Himalayas have circulated. The creature said to stand 3 metres tall has been allegedly seen by many locals as well as hikers visiting the area. In Chinese Yeti is often referred to as 'Xueguai'.
A number of locals living near the Nepalese border claim not only to have seen the creature, but to have collected strands of its hair. Now, it has been reported that a team of scientists have collected these strands and have already confirmed that they do not belong to any local known animals.
The scientists plan to do further testing on the hair strands.
One theory regarding the Yeti is that the sightings of the supposed cryptid are in fact that of a rare bear that lives in the area but is unknown to scientists. The scientists hope to settle this mystery with the DNA tests
