UFO alert in Berlin
Michael Cohen m.cohen@allnewsweb.com
The well-known German publication 'Bild' reported this week that last Wednesday, August 16, at around 5.40pm they received a rash of panicky phone calls from readers who had seen a UFO that they thought was about to land in the middle of Berlin. The UFO did in fact appear to descend almost to ground level.
At least one reader managed to get a number of pictures (above and below) of the unusual looking object. Some observers have suggested that this was merely a weather balloon. Bild magazine contacted the German Weather Bureau and showed them the photos of the UFO however a weather Bureau employee could not identify the object, with certainty, as a weather balloon.

Another meteorologist on being shown the photos noted that it did not appear to be a weather balloon.
Reporters note: This is almost certainly some kind of man-made balloon and is unlikely to be of extraterrestrial origin.
What do you think?
